With the weather looking up here we were itching to get back out and explore some wild and beautiful landscapes in England. The Malvern hills are located in the counties of Worcestershire and Herefordshire and are well known for there natural springs. this sounded like a perfect place for us to explore and get out into nature
It was a very cold and early start with the car covered in frost but with our flask full of tea we set off towards the hills. we never take a map as we like to find our own way we feel if you get lost your more likely to stumble upon something beautiful.
The paths are easy to follow and open out to some incredible views
parts of the hills were still covered in frost making for a winter wonderland feel
We found a natural spring on the side of the hills
and climbed up for a drink as nature intended
The trails led to some of the most incredible views we have ever seen
At the top of the hills there is a beacon with a map showing all of the locations surrounding the hills a perfect spot to plan some more adventures
You can find sheep anywhere in England even all the way up here
We started to make our way back down but without a map decided to take our own route not really knowing where it would lead
We stopped for something to eat and of course a cup of tea
On the way down we chose to take a forest path we wanted to see what the hills were hiding
Slightly off the beaten track we found a frozen river and sat down to marvel at how peaceful it was
The temperature was dropping again as the day went on and the sun was on its decent down
The forest ended and we were treated to another set of stunning views the frost was starting to set on the sides of the hills
After a very long day we found the road that lead to our car park and headed back to get warm we were coverd in mud and Adam had frost on his beard but it was an adventure we will not forget
